Biology of Sport is the official journal of the Institute of Sport in Warsaw, Poland, published since 1984.
Biology of Sport is an international scientific peer-reviewed journal, published quarterly in both paper and electronic format. The journal publishes articles concerning basic and applied sciences in sport, physical exercise, sports medicine, pharmacology, training and testing as well as in other biological and social aspects related to sport. Priority is given to inter-disciplinary papers.
Biology of Sport invites the submission of high quality original research articles, short communications and review papers. Please note that only those manuscripts that have not been published anywhere else are eligible for consideration.
The only exception is the presentation of preliminary data (i.e. abstract); in such cases the authors are obliged to make an appropriate note in the manuscript Detailed information on preparation of the manuscript is described in the Instruction for Authors.
